Creative Thinking: Its Importance and How to Cultivate It

      ). Einstein recognized the unlimited capability of the human mind to achieve. Whether advances in engineering, physics, mathematics, or medicine; some of the greatest discoveries have often been the result of scientific reasoning. Although important, what we may fail to account for is the inevitable box in which scientific reasoning places us . Logical decisions alone limit our accomplishments by developing solutions solely based on data-driven analyses. Creative thinking, on the other hand, factors in emotions and intuition, opening the door to new perspectives. Logic takes us from inception to finish with an idea, but in order to nourish it, we must utilize creativity. As our cognition develops a synergistic relationship between the two, new possibilities arise.
