Today's radiology workforce is made up of staff from a wide range of organizational
levels including executives, managers, radiologists, nurses, technologists, clerks,
and Information Technology personnel. Technologists guide patients and their families
through what can amount to a very stressful experience. They are often the only human
element standing between patients and the intimidating machine that may deliver life-changing
information about their health (
