      We appreciate Dr. Gaitan and her team's more global analysis of the current challenges to attracting physicians to the field of nuclear medicine, which can be exacerbated by lack of training opportunities for physicians, lack of knowledge about nuclear medicine among referring providers, and insufficient governmental and institutional support.
