We read with interest the article by Junn and colleagues “Virtual mentoring: A guide
to navigating a new age in mentorship” published in Academic Radiology (

). We applaud the authors for a timely perspective on the virtual mentorship process,
which is now established as a “new normal” following the COVID-19 pandemic, similar
