Operationalizing Collaboration in the COVID Era

Published:February 27, 2023DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.acra.2023.02.004
This special issue reflects on the changes in radiology due to the COVID pandemic. Which should be incorporated into our daily routines, which should be modified, and which should be discarded? Increasing workloads and heightened expectations of radiologists using electronic health records developed more for administration than clinical work add to what has become an epidemic of burnout. Can we find ways to work smarter, not harder? Can we develop broad collaborative networks to share best practices and better utilize our resources? Rawson and colleagues Norbash and Davis have put together an issue that helps us answer these questions and better plan for a successful future.
