Thanks to Our Reviewers!

Thank you, reviewers! The scientific process depends upon many things. An idea begins with the investigator, whose work is supported, at least initially, by the department and institution. The degree of sophistication of these projects often requires multiple investigators coming together, each bringing specific expertise to bear on the scientific problem. Peer-reviewed publications document the progress and form the basis for applications to funding agencies for grant support. However, this would not be possible without the time and effort of thousands of volunteer reviewers. These individuals give freely of their time and expertise to help journals select the most innovative and impactful work to be published in Academic Radiology. Although it is impossible to name all of you individually, we are equally appreciative of the efforts of all who contribute to the success of our journal. The entire scientific community thanks you for what you do! The selection of outstanding reviewers for 2021 is based on the number, quality and timeliness of the review.
